If I were a social media platform I'd be Instagram. It's absolutely my favorite social media site and I love the evolution of the channel. I am not alone in my love of the platform as Instagram has stated they have some 800 million daily active users. One of the best features for small businesses which is underutalized imo is Instagram stories. Its a great way to reach a larger audience and build a deeper connection with your followers.
According to Instagram, 80% of users say they follow at least one business on the app, with 60% hearing about a product and service through the platform. As of March 2017, over 120 million Instagram users visited a website, got directions, called a business, emailed or direct messaged a business.
One way to really stand out from the Instagram story crowd is by using templates. Cut your content creation time in half by using branded templates where you can edit the colors, fonts, and images with your own content. I am certainly no graphic designer, and to be honest not everyone has time to mess around on Photoshop or Canva which makes Instagram templates the best thing to have in your marketing toolkit.
